As long as super heroines in question have chests the size of Power Girl, dress as skimpy as Firestar and will be depicted getting their brains ####ed out than it's an excellent idea.

I tend to like Superheroines in this setting both for Comics and Vids (there are several contributors to the sister forum who operate successfully with that subject matter).  I was under the vague impression that Stream was supposed to be that sort of comic, but the first entry was confusing...and I can't remember if it was dropped before a second entry was attempted or not.  This is different from, say--the accidental LARP near the end of the first arc of SJI.

Superheroines are great.  The key is to have vast powers and a strong will, but then be overwhelmed by urges.  If the villain can use the heroine's well... heroism... to begin her undoing, even better.  Also, sexual kryptonite equivalents are awesome.

Right then.  My vote is yes.

Look, the real appeal to this site, is that Daphne 'gets it' as far as HOW we want people mind controlled.  We want them to have some awareness...or at least for the change to be gradual...(to us, that is) so we get to revel in the gradual seduction of....*ahem*  is it getting hot in here?

Anyway, superheroines are a natural choice (I mean, Wonder Woman's first ten years are spent in bondage, c'mon!).  Sadly, I don't think any established characters are likely to be used (So, Plutonion Knight, maybe it can be Powerful Woman, controled by telepathy privateer)...

oh, and Daphne, if you do a strip about a cooking show, I want story credit

So, we haven't done much with traditional superhero comics. Thoughts?
I think some super hero comics would be fine.

I'd love to see some superheroines Mc'd.
Should be a long continuing series IMO. I'd hope to see an innocent heroine get mixed up in either some tech or magic and corrupted and then set out to add the other heroines to her new team or as drones.
You can feel free to blatantly make reference to known heroines all you want, ie. Power Woman, Wander Gal, Super Female, Hawkperson, Zentana, Winged Rodent Girl, Poisonous Ivy, ... you get the point.
Or make up some of your own. Those can be just as fun.

For myself, I'd prefer it if the superheroes/superheroines win out in the end against the forces of evil.  They could even have MC powers themselves, not unlike this guy--

The Adventures Of ALL MAN

While it's not expressly Mind Control, he does have every woman he meets want to fuck him, and they do appear to be thoroughly satisfied.  I'd call it Mind Control 12D6, Area Effect Radius, Only Vs. Women, Only To Control Extreme Sexual Attraction.

On top of that, he has Superman-level strength, speed and invulnerability.  Not bad if you can get it.

Perhaps a cosplayer could impersonate him in CON'Fused.  It would be a nifty tribute and a funny scene.

Hope that helps.

I also missed Only In Hero ID.  Then again, it's not like I was building the character--what GM would let me play him?

Had one GM dumb enough to let me buy up my CON and sell down all of the figured characteristics. So I tried again with a 10000 CON.

The Bizarre History Of Superhero Porn

By no means a complete history, and the article says as much.  It does not include, for example, Jenna Jameson's Wicked Weapon, which is perhaps the only superhero porn movie that isn't played for laughs.  Nor does it include The Cockateer, which has a scene where the villain Screwball uses his cock to Hypnotize the hero's girlfriend.  It does include a comic by Robert Crumb in which the superheroines get Hypnotized and recruited to the side of evil.  Which reinforces what I've surmised about fans of stories where superheroes and heroines are Hypnotized, defeated and humiliated--that they, like Crumb, despise superheroes.

As I've said before, I prefer it when the heroes and heroines win.

Obviously one of the big subtexts of Golden Age Wonder Woman is capturing and 'rehabilitating' criminals via her magic lasso, which isn't necessarily mind control per se but does force compliance. While Marston had ideas about the sexes that I'm not particularly fond of, I don't think you could say he *hated* superheroes (though he definitely thought the genre needed some shaking up). A lot of the superheroine erotica I see around the web focuses on the 'peril' aspect of things, and powerful women being humiliated and made to submit, oftentimes through sex that's portrayed as degrading. While I'm not averse to cape erotica per se, I find that model of things played out a bit. But the eroticization of the superhero genre itself is almost inevitable, dating back to at least the aforementioned Marston, and you have current-day writers such as Morrison who embrace the erotic portions of the genre while being unabashed fans of it. As a onetime comics writer myself, the kinky undercurrent is and will probably always remain there *cough*Claremont*cough* .

If one was going to publish a superheroine-oriented comic, my vote would be to invert the 'superheroine in peril' trope and make the protagonist superheroine the mind controller - I can't think of a better time to do kinky f/f mc stories. There *is* a certain appeal to female characters powerful by dint of super strength or what have you in submissive positions due to mind control, and characters who put forward a powerful public face being submissive or being made to submit in private, but the extremes of humiliation and degradation that I see in about 95% of erotica involving superheroines is off-putting, and usually if I'm enjoying it it's *in spite of* that, rather than because of it.

I find it hard to believe that any adult of normal intelligence would read those stories for the plot lines. Surely it's all about fantasy, ideas, and subtext?

There's plenty of superhero comics that are the equivalent of a good action movie - fun, flashy, and with a few twists to keep things exciting. I don't find it unusual that plenty of people find that interesting.

So, really I'm indifferent to superheroes and superheroines. But the idea of someone who ought to be invulnerable walking into a trap and being rendered defenceless? Well, I mean, is it a two-parter?

Let's face it, most of the journeys we've taken to get here started with the realization that we were enjoying an ostensibly innocent story in a way that the author/director couldn't possibly have anticipated (right?). YouTube is awash with clips from mainstream TV and cinema in which nothing "adult" happens, yet people are clearly only posting and watching them because they enjoy them on that level.

Personally the only reason I moved on to more explicit material was that that stuff is generally made by people who know what it is that I'm enjoying and who can openly explore that stuff. But in practice it often doesn't work out like that. Because it turns out that what I'm enjoying in those clips isn't necessarily what someone else is enjoying (which must be the anticipation of an entirely unnecessary sex scene that has nothing to do with mind control, or anything other than two bodies having sex). But hey ho, you take what you can get.

For me, the extent of the humiliation someone wants to see is a measure of the extent to which they hate women, rather than being anything to do with superheroes per se. But that's just my opinion. And I guess some people would equate liking mc stories with liking rape; so speculating as to what it is that people are actually enjoying is perhaps unwise.

I dunno, calling mind-controlled sex scenes unnecessary seems strange considering the site you're on. You're coming off as pretty judgmental about how this kink that we all nominally share should be enjoyed. I don't find humiliation to add heat to a story on its own, but some people do, and I don't think it necessarily has anything to do with their opinion of women (as a group or individually). Sometimes a kink is just a kink. I've been into mind control since I was 5 or 6 and didn't exactly know what sex was and thought girls had cooties; sometimes its just how we're wired. There's some evidence to suggest that people into feet just have brains that are wired differently - trying to pin it to formative events in childhood or manifestations of political beliefs seems like mistaking wishes for truth.
