I am honestly sorry if some of the content isn't to people's taste. I assure you that I don't set out to write things that people won't like! I'm not sure how to take on DeltaDelta's initial comment, though. If you want to articulate particular things that weren't to your taste, I'd be curious.

Since we have 52 (or 53) updates a year, that's a fixed limit on how frequently anything can come out. This means a fundamental tradeoff between frequency and variety. Remember that if some things are to one's taste, and some aren't, a decision to run a particular title more frequently may mean that the one you really hate is the one that you're stuck with more often.

I'd love to increase the page count, but the only real cost on this site is art. (And it's a huge cost. There are parts of the US where you could buy a house for what MCC spends on art in a year.) My feeling is that our subscriptions are expensive enough as it is, and bumping page count across the board would mean we'd have to raise prices.

So, I'm always happy to get feedback, as long as it is understood that there aren't that many "if you'd just..." options we haven't considered.

I have a decent feel for what this costs and based on what I've seen, looking into self-funding some of the stuff I can't get people to pay me for, and read elsewhere you're paying well. Trust me, I appreciate it. I like good art, and I like good artists being able to eat. I figure they need to do it from time to time.

I have found stuff I thought was hot, and stuff I thought was a hot *idea*, but the art execution didn't quite pull it off, and stuff that was part of telling the story and which took up way too much time (not trusting the reader to get it). Here's some examples:

This is a great idea, but there's nothing that indicates to me that the girl is under any kind of compulsion other than the caption: https://mindcontrolcomics.com/comics/ri/i042/. Same artist, but note: the 2 girls in the back are clearly hypnotized; the one in the front, not so much. See how tiny differences make the difference? https://mindcontrolcomics.com/comics/ri/i036/. I think moving the girl in front's right eye to the right a tiny bit would've made all the difference in that image.

Compare this shot from Chrysalis 1: https://mindcontrolcomics.com/comics/chrysalis/i01/p13, with pretty much anything in the last 4 issues. It's a TF + MC story, but the TF is so dominant in the art that the MC barely comes out, except in the text.

Consider https://mindcontrolcomics.com/comics/piece_and_quiet_bonus/: great piece. But it took 5 of 10 pages to set it up, even though it was obvious what was going to happen after a few panels on pages 3 and 5. The 2-page MC sequence for the first girl is nice; the MC for the other 2 is a half-page, and the rest is denouement. I suggest the whole comic could've been done in 5-6 pages, or 4-5 more pages could've been devoted to enthrallment and "now what am I going to do with you 3".

I find that about 30% of the content pushes my buttons, given the total package of art + story. Usually I find the story pretty hot (and interesting *as a story*), but the art makes or breaks it as MC porn.

beyond a greater emphasis on BE.

That's totally because I've gotten more into it.

In both Daphne's and my own defense...there's a 'casual' rotation of types of MC in these. I've noticed people saying "Oh but she doesn't look hypnotised" - but spiral eyes aren't the only way to convey that affect. Sometimes a girl is hypnotised to fuck a guy - we see that she is annoyed, or confused. We see that by her facial expression...but she's still 'having' to fuck him, because she's hypnotised Smiley Sometimes the girl is quite pleased to be hypnotised in to docile adoration, so she's looking up at him, breathless and wanting - against her will.

All of those things will trigger different aficionados...because our triggers are different. I'd assume you prefer the more obvious 'blank expression' kind. Myself, I prefer the unhappy pouting 'I'm doing it, but I have no idea why" or the "Get off me...don't stop...stop...don't stop...I'm really pissed...don't stop" kind. You can't show those subtleties of emotional conflict with blank stares and spiral eyes Smiley

Yes, these are good points, and I probably shouldn't have picked one-panel comics as illustrations, either, as it's really really hard to both develop the story and show how it ends up in any reasonable way.

Depth > Breadth, even if it's not something I'm 100% aligned with, is where I'm at. If it ends up being cheating-focused stories that have all the mc happen offscreen? I'd move along, I guess.
