Also, U. of Paris and Wilmot M.A. are in her "official" background in the April 2012 Bonus materials which have all been made public (minus the pretty pictures) and which, I assume, we are supposed to consider canon. That's way too much effort for it to be an April Fool's joke spanning two years. Don't get any ideas, PK.
If I may be permitted to defend myself a little.
I only brought up the meal thing because Adrian went on dates on consecutive nights that were definitely supposed to include meals as prelude, and never got beyond coffee before the
"Let's get outta here."
"Check, please!" phase of the proceedings. Furthermore, neither started at an actual restaurant which is also a little odd.
I've heard of progressive dinners and pub crawls which are about hitting a sequence of locations as the night progresses, but, as far as I know, neither concept was in play for either date. Now, of course, I could be wrong. It just struck me as an odd pattern, particularly because you'd figure that unless Pat Cavanaugh was also part Kryptonian, Adrian would need his strength to be adventurous enough to fullfill the fantasies of his harem.
From the information Daphne just gave us, I'd guess that the entire New York harem phase of Dani's life that pretzeled her self and identity took about 18 months.
I have two reasonable guesses bout the breadth of her affected memory.
Either, El Magnifico is someone from her past (possibly connected to her father) and part of his programming was to rewrite all her memories involving him after she was inducted into the Harem; or, as part of her escape she sought assistance from another mesmerist to minimize the trauma of her experience (to forget about it or heal from it) and that person was either not as skilled as El Magnifico, misunderstood El Magnifico's earlier presence in her memory, or couldn't resist having some...fun.
Question--Did Dani ever tell her housemates where exactly that Home Ec disaster happened? That could be one of her false memories as well.
