As far as this goes, Caitlyn just seems really, really susceptible to this sort of thing. Perhaps she's in to it?
I seem to remember her as expressing an interest in politics at some point. The idea of her as a high-powered government figure who just can't wait to give up control in private... well, I'm looking forward to the future of this comic. Here's hoping she can get out of her current pickle, though, and get back to the master she belongs with.

I keep hoping she'll kick out and either wreck his crotch or break his nose; Cherry will react, dropping Cait's arms, and as Julian folds up, Cait catches the crystal. By the time Cherry reacts, Cait has the crystal in front of her face--and at LONG LAST karmic payback for all the awfulness that is and has been Cherry. The fleeting, dying hope of the desperate.
Hopefully, someone will show up to obliterate Julian before he can take advantage of Caitlyn.*grumbles*

She may just be reckless. The first time she got zapped, by Alex at Sawyers, was probably just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. But the second time at the grocery store, and now at the airport, she went up to people she knew were involved with mind control, took no precautions, and paid the price. In the SJI-verse that's just reckless. It isn't clear whether the crystal can overpower the Watch, though. Julian's control may be limited to things that don't conflict with the Watch programming. |

The crystal ball may small then the Watch crystal we can go back to Amy SJI - 240 with pink cloud and them the ring SJI- 254 took control of Amy the ring have the same crystal as the watch but smaller I would say that the Crystal ball will take control |

Do we have an origin on this thing? It seems to have passed from Jakob to Zenon (through Claudia) and back to Julian (who is ostensibly working for Jakob). But Jakob can't make anything, and it seems to be different from the shell-looking crystals (and, therefore, unlikely to be composed of or containing shell shards) that are at the center of the Kearsage plot. So, who cut this crystal and why? And how did Jakob get it in the first place?  ETA--This post has been edited to the appropriate K brother. |
