It strikes me as odd for the guy to ask about Miriam. He seems familiar and I feel he would know Miriam (as Pearl) was not on speaking terms with her mom. I could have him mixed up with someone else, but I'm sure I saw him on the phone in am earlier strip talking all sinister like into said phone.

Haight meant half-siblings. That back when Jacqui was a roadie/groupie, she Patrick and Miel had lots and lots of fun...and Pearl was the result. I...have reservations about that interpretation of existing facts, most principally
1. Jacqui's experience in Kearsage as a road manager predates (by months, maybe more than a year) the point when Pearl was conceived; and
2. I can't see anything other than an surprise pregnancy shoving Ezra and Jacqui together for any length of time. If he was a complete slimeball, he wasn't attractive enough to compensate for it (and thus, in her mistaken estimation, worth her time). And if he was a by-the-numbers entertainment lawyer who repped various bands and stayed behind the scenes making sure "the trains ran on time," his current self seems far too...er, uptight for him to be anything other than an experiment. As in, Jacqui decided to rock his world for the fun of it, and someone forgot protection.

Jacqui met Patrick and Miel in Sullivan's in July 1986 (g21-22).
Pearl was born between 23 Sep 1989 and 22 Oct 1989.
Adrian was also born in this date range. Daphne has confirmed that Patrick and Miel are his parents but not that Ezra and Jacqui are Miriam's.
We have a picture of Jacqui from 25 Dec 1988 (255), which would be approximately the time (possibly a little before) Pearl was conceived. She's in a room with posters of celtic designs on the wall and a keyboard, an accordion, and a mandolin. Compare that with Patrick and Miel's place in g22. "Room for three there?" "Oh, absolutely." (g23)
But there's quite a gap between July 1986 and December 1988 - a gap in which Jacqui got her trademark tattoo (or run over by a tractor).
As I've said before, there's some kind of logic to a child with a connection to Wilmot being called Pearl.
On the other hand, I stubbornly maintain that Pearl was intended to look Jewish by birth in g17-20.
By the by, I believe Erin's Christmas pin-up is from the Christmas before the traumatic events with Cherry and Erin's subsequent arrival at Wilmot. Mallory's pin-up is also (I think) the Christmas before the traumatic event with Charlotte and Mallory's subsequent arrival at Wilmot. Dani's pin-up is from the Christmas before her traumatic event with Jakob's plane and her subsequent arrival at Wilmot (but she'd been there before that, surely). And Jacqui's pin-up... possibly doesn't fit the pattern. But maybe the conception was traumatic.

Her father? Well that explains why he doesn't seem to fit into Jacqui's world. And by that I simply mean he would have popped up more often if he was more active in either woman's life. The half sibling concept is intriguing but mildly creepy seeing as they're banging each other (but still hot).
The story has taken an interesting path from where I expected to go.

I don't think Adrian and Pearl have actually had sex with each other. They were certainly naked together during Erin's Magik Ritual, but that's different. Or am I forgetting something? |

We don't know for certain what was going on in "reality" in the storeroom during Erin's ritual. However, I don't think sex was involved (or we'd have gotten one panel devoted to it). It could show up in a flashback, of course (like Jacqui's fun in the storeroom with Adrian).

Yes, but our fearless leader did this before, remember? When Pearl first showed up at Deep Black and Erin offered her coffee and some cheery sarcasm? Adrian and Jacqui were en flagrante and all we heard were the shouts she wanted her daughter to hear (which again, odd). But then, Adrian told Erin about it that night, and we got a flashback. Hopefully, it'll be Pearl telling Erin or somebody, and not Weston hearing this from Reka (or Heaven forbid, Pearl).
