Totally missed this entity on first viewing. Not sure we could definitively say from eyes and part of one arm that it's a woman. My first leaning as well.
Weston continues to annoy me. He alternates between theatrispeak (the goofier second cousin of scholastispeak) and the pre-luck mentality of most of the male hypnotists in other continua on this site.*grumbles*

Given the sort of thing we know Erin has been up to, she has to be a likely target if this is some kind of supernatural thing Good point. In fact, all of Erin's behaviour since saving Dani has been ... well, weird. She's inordinately cheerful for someone who took on a state near death to save a friend, who set up some kind of mystical defense at her home (which turned out to be absolutely necessary), and then has to go out into the world. When you add in the fact that she has had experience with horrifying supernatural stuff before (guest page 10, when she encounters whatever that was, her behaviour seems oddly unperturbed. Of course, maybe she's just happy because of her engagement and because she's doing what she loves. But I wonder: is she visited with negative consequences when she taps into the supernatural? That would fit with the 'devils are all here'. |

We have seen that (or we think so), but at least one of those proclamations is highly questionable...Jacqui. Remember, after her meeting with Rain, during Girls' Night In, she confessed that she'd never given a woman pleasure before...but, I have a hard time believing that she didn't participate in the lustpile that completed her programming. Plus, it would appear that she offered Dani...intimate time to bribe our favorite pilot to call Derek. Perhaps she's merely an oral savant with both men and women (just ask Laura).
We know that Kanti went clothes shopping for Q, but so far it appears that all the clothes and pleasure aids that have been used in the SJI belonged to one of the residents before the Night of the Watch.

I think the shenanigans were partially an escuse to give us some gorgeous splash pages, and partially an indication of how plans had to change because Adrian refused to expand the harem any farther. I think the original plan was for a Marli-style dinner party, and then Pink Clouds research and Adrian's stance on the harem altered the plan. Also, Erin's aware of how intimidating she can be, and she might have considered having someone else there as a buffer to make Raven comfortable.
