Another new day? Definitely the longest, most eventful day so far in the SJI-verse was that Saturday. Even longer and more eventful than The Night of the Watch. Not sexier, but more dangerous.

The Night of the Watch was a kickstart. The Fourteenth was the site of the first crisis (crises) thus far in the development of the Harem. Dani was attacked, the belltower was loosed, a shell was revealed, and Caitlyn had the first documented experience of Pink Clouds colliding with Watch programming.

Predawn of new day. Beyond that....I think mns has it exactly right. I was going to start raving about lightning sand with no popping sound, but then I remembered. Flamespurts have popping sounds. Lightning sand just is. HELP!!! I thought that was Rain because it looked like one of her instruments, but--um, who's the gal doing the dance by herself. The person who killed the chicken at the Walmart (and presumably added a...what, synthesizer or something) to that instrument to summon Adrian doesn't seem to be the same person dancing. The person dancing doesn't look to me like anyone we've met. Plus, the pop-up doesn't help at all (well, it doesn't help me). Can I make a plea that we sometimes have pop-ups with straight out information or ironic funny editorials again--doing exclusively song lyrics is making my head hurt.

Echo? Neither of the women in the early portions of the comic looks like Echo. The chicken-killer's hair is too long, and the mystery dancing person/goddess/whatever is way too busty. If that is Echo playing her oboe--when and how did she get here? Whoever's playing, whatever that is, I think she's trying to exercise some control over or call to Adrian, and it partially worked. ETA--The chicken-killer could be Alex. But, since when does Walmart sell live chickens? However, even if that is Alex with the chicken, it doesn't explain the Priestess of WHOA, or the instrument. Based on what little we have here, I thought the chicken-killer was the same person playing the...modified instrument, and that she was trying to draw Adrian. However, none of that explains the Priestess of WHOA.

Well, that's not a song lyric.

And to make matters more confusing easier: The title of the piece and the title text are significant to the interpretation of this page.
