As usual, GodWilling is able to articulate something more exactly than I am.  I think I'm finally getting a sense of the complexity of the plot and what's going on.  Partially because I'm slow, partially because, well, the sexy, partially because I can barely recall the source material/"inspiration".  I get the sense with part 12 that all the pieces are in place, or nearly so, for the climax (the story's climax, you pervs) to occur.
