On the surface it seems to be a straight Indian greeting, though I don't know what "premi" adds/implies/means. "Namaste" literally means "I bow to you," although while respectful it doesn't have a particularly submissive connotation (sort of like Victorians signing their letters "Your obedient servant"). "Premi" means "boyfriend" or "lover" (although without necessarily implying boinking); probably "love" (as in "Hi, love") is the closest English equivalent. |

I didn't think he was very interesting at all, until we got to this reaction. He seemed to get hooked on the power real fast and have limited imagination. If this was his last suggestion, maybe he has more imagination than he seemed to. Also, if he were seriously contemplating disposing of the rest of the sample, that would make him VERY interesting. I got the impression that he was Gary in Love Poition #9, spritzing a bit on himself to cause the pheremonal trigger with any woman he met as long as he was careful about wind direction. I suppose we shall see what we see in the next couple weeks.

Ah, right. The text in the large white box above the image reads "And revolt? Who do men revolt?" This is the same as the title of the web page itself. But the text embedded in the image itself at the top reads "Saint James Infirmary Episode 131: And revolt? Why do men revolt?" It's 'Who' vs. 'Why'. With respect to jmundt29's point, I find myself wondering if he's trapped between his inclinations and his fears. Perhaps he knows that if he uses the perfume to build his own harem this will bring him into conflict with other power players, and he's afraid of the potential consequences. He has been warned to keep his nose clean, so to speak. But then again... hot, mind-controlled women. Poor guy, no wonder he's torn. (It may be worth noting, in this regard, that he put the moves on Kanti before he received the warning from Hans. So perhaps it's a back-and-forth: enslave a woman, get warned, think about stopping, get the upside of the enslavement knocking on his door... which way will he go?) |

I like the idea of building up Q's story line gradually rather than it being on an automatic intersec course with Adriens or anyone else's story. I also like the detail of her sari ( the name on Kantis bag in ep121 was sari and silk palace[Nice foreshadowing btw]  , And the next question regarding books of power will be just exactly how much of the Kama Sutra does she know and practice well? Now if she had started off with Salaam Alaikum, I'd really be confused. Speaking of episode 121; will we ever learn whom the woman on the phone in front of Kanti was or what Raven bought from Passion Source? Btw. There should be an occult shop or antique store in town called: "Jump the shark" . The store being filled with improbable impossible irresponsible artifacts and or device that would cause viewers and readers to cry foul anywhere but in the mind control fetish community... What does this device do? Here let me show you, first drink this potion, recite this spell and then let me strap this device to your head. Sounds legit to me. |
