This feels like a major escalation. For some reason I didn't think Miriam would/would be able to do this to Erin. (At least for the time I've been following the story, Erin always seemed like the most powerful woman in the cast.) So curious about what happens next. Sometimes I wish I could just leap forward a year and get to read everything all at once!

We don't know yet who's vaping whom. It feels as though something different ought to happen this time, unless we really are going to watch Miriam working through Adrian's harem from one end while he works through them from the other, each doing the same thing over and over. But from a plotting point of view, it's hard to believe that Miriam would be dispatched at this point. At best they might both disappear into some other reality for a tussle.
