I certainly prefer it, though Expanded Universe has shown how a (technically) softcore series can still be very fun.

The answer I would have checked is "I'm here for the MC stories". There is little sex in "Perchance", but it's one of the hottest stories in the archive.

Depending on the story line (characters), hardcore sex may be a strong point of the story.
An example that comes to mind is 'Bigger'. The conversion of the wife into a whore is hot.

I say 50/50, but my favorite completed  series, beyond rubies, feels like its only 40% this, and my favorite ongoing, Expanded Universe doesn't have very much hardcore stuff. So I guess somewhere inbetween 50/50 and i'm inclined away from it?
