So is that Pearl's hand resting on Jacqui's shoulder in the final panel?  And given the effect that Pearl's hands have had on Heidi, are we worried about their possible impact on Erin and Jacqui?

I think Erin has the red nails and it's Miriam making the fist in the penultimate panel - hence, perhaps, the grip on Jacqui's shoulder.
