Pondering motivations.  Is Adrian trying to keep Erin distracted and busy until he can get her to the Watch for a fix-up?  Or is he trying to get Pearl to the Watch for a proper induction?  Perhaps both, maybe neither.  It does seem like he thinks something is seriously wrong with Erin, though, which is more situational awareness than he usually exhibits.

I'm just wondering who this guy is? He looks like Adrian but doesn't act like him. Decisive, commanding... active.

Another unsettling thought.  The group now gathering at the airport contains all the things in which Jakob seems to be specifically interested: Danielle, Erin, Pearl and the Watch.  All the eggs in one basket, with Jakob's agent heading in to land.  Coincidence, bait for a trap, or delivery?

I think Erin needs her batteries charged, so to speak. Her magic seems to recharge via sex.

That's how I interpreted it.

Adrian could probably have charged her batteries very effectively himself. Maybe he's expecting Miriam to use her magic touch.

Interesting that Aiken hasn't come with them.

Worth noting that those two are probably the two strongest magic users in the SJI orbit.  And they have combustible chemistry.  It's risky, but it might be the most efficient charging solution.
