Mind too blown to speculate or even snark.

That would seem logical, although Tamara had green eyes in the guest pages. Here (and in 641) she has similar eyes to The Cloud version of Echo. Which probably doesn't mean anything.

But the information we are given is that she called Erin "Mom", which would suggest she's Erin's daughter rather than her mother. Unless I've misunderstood. Plus, we've been shown in the guest pages that Erin could have a red-haired daughter (with Adrian) called Tamara. And we've reason to believe that Erin's mother is dead.

Looking back, I think this comic marks a turning point in the Erin/Zenon interaction. After Vik's assault on Adrian in #862, Erin is distraught. Look at her in the final panel of that comic, and in #868-869. She's angry, grieving, devastated and apparently suicidal. But from #871 onwards she's smiling to herself, laughing and snarking at Zenon, whispering to Aiken that she's "fine". In #874 she looks like she's deliberately playing him for information. Her emotional tone turned on a dime.
If we assume that the vision in #870 is Erin and Adrian's future daughter, and that Erin knows this somehow, then the change makes sense. If the future daughter is still possible, that means Adrian is either still alive or will live again. And knowing that is what gives Erin the confidence to banter with Zenon. She knows that one of his fundamental assumptions is wrong. There are forces in play that he doesn't know about or doesn't understand, and that means he can be beaten.
Based on the above, I do not think Erin is likely to willingly give herself to Zenon. She knows that the choice he presents, him or Jakob, is a false dichotomy.

"Who... who are you?" Erin had reached puberty when her parents died (868). So why doesn't she recognise her mother?

I can say from personal experience that it is possible to not recognize someone you know very well when you encounter them in a place you think they can't be.

We've not seen either of Erin's parents at any point in the book so far.

Granted. And I've apparently blanked pretty much everyone I know at some point. Although to be fair this isn't a place anyone can't be. (I'll be very surprised if I've got that sentence right.) We've not seen either of Erin's parents at any point in the book so far.
Thanks for confirming that, although I'm not the one who isn't convinced... And you may have said too much. Didn't someone put forward the theory that Erin was Jakob's daughter? If they didn't they should have.

I'm honestly not sure if you're being snarky here or not, but this seems a non sequitur. That's not Erin's mother. I mean, I'm sure there are some pretty oddball families out there, but it's pretty unusual for a mother to refer to her daughter as "mom."
