I'm not sure that Rain would know anything about the construction of the Watch.  My impression is that she may know about the power source at the center of it, but the control mechanisms seem to be a creation of Jakob and Danielle.

Marliese open the watch way back SJI- 72 and 73 and change the switch setting on the watch. Noe Marliese tell Danielle to switch back and change anyone in to a love slave.

I suppose it's just possible that Dani is incapable of knowing the settings. My guess around the time of that page was that Marliese may have a photographic memory. It seems possible that she would have a "superpower" that got her into the harem other than the one revealed in "Her Superpower" (66-7).

Ah, yes, I missed that.  Although it still isn't clear *why* Marliese has that knowledge.  Also, Danielle should have learned the switch settings in #603/#605, and we see her doing something that looks like tweaking the settings in #616, so why does she need help now?

Yeah, 616 would count against the idea that Dani can't know the settings...

We know that Marliese and Rain are intimate. If that's Rain who interrupts in 20 then there's an implication that Marliese may have entered the harem with some foreknowledge. And that may go some way to explaining her detached view in 234, say. According to 74, Marliese was the one who "figured out" how to use the watch at least to some extent - certainly she was the one wearing the trousers when Dani was programmed. But they were generally being disingenuous to Adrian in 74, so it may not be true that they didn't know what the switches did.

Rain would seem to be the daughter of a god, so I suppose all bets are off when it comes to what she knows. She also intervened with Marliese's treatment of Alex and Katie in 314, preventing their early treatment with the antidote. Just by the by: "We need to find Vikram Puntambekar." We? A link between the Pink Clouds thread and the Watch thread - the Jakob thread - has never been clear to me. If it's not too obvious a statement, what Rain knows and what we know are very different things.
