From the title I was thinking this might be some kind of reference to Mallory's birthday.

On a very tangential note, I bought The Collector on Blu-ray on Wednesday, and even after watching it I couldn't remember why I was so familiar with the title of this film that I'd never seen before. This page set a ball rolling that has finally caused me to remember.

And with this, Aiken, Mr. Bad Idea himself, takes the Lucky Dog title away from Weston and Coates.  Wow.

However, congratulations to our power couple.  Please delay the ceremony until after these fools have been dealt with and we can enjoy Jacqui's performance with Dani.  Well, that's me being overconfident.  Win first.

I have to admit that I initially thought Dani's look in that last panel meant that this installment was going to be some sort of splash page at the hangar.
