I'm not sure how you get that from the title and preview shot.  This looks like aftermath, but of what kind?

No toehold, just touching bases and moving forward.  Now that Cherry is healed, Julian needs to keep his side of the deal and deliver Jakob.

Here's a fun thought.  Julian needs to lure Jakob to a known location.  That means he could use some bait, something he knows Jakob wants badly.  How about Erin?  Julian could contact Jakob, tell him his trap worked and that his newly enslaved Erin is waiting for him. Jakob shows up to grab her and walks into an ambush.

Another variant on this would involve Erin pretending to be enslaved to Jakob so she could infiltrate his organization until he put in an appearance.  That could also be interesting.

And have Daphne deny herself the chance to write some sweet, sweet monologuing? I think not.

He's been leaving bits of his personality all over the place; there can't be much left. I know for a fact that his three best bons mots are somewhere in Dani's mind. And every time Claudia thinks of bees, she screams something about the Titanomachy. He's just the husk of a man now who swears too much.

I reckon.

Well Voldemart managed seven Horcruxes, although they are not quite the same thing....

Yeah, well, I've looked up what all that's about, and it appears to be referencing a work largely of fiction...

I thought it was based heavily on Margaret Thatcher's method of sustaining herself, though.

The only reason Thatcher died is because it would have looked suspicious if she hadn't.
