A further thought. Until recently, we thought that Watch programming was not reversible. In the dreamscape sequence Daphne pointedly indicated that it is. Why would she do that now? Watch programming being reversible does two things that are relevant to the current situation. First, it means Erin is under a real threat; her existing programming won't protect her. Second, it means that even if the Jakobite succeeds in reprogramming her here she can be rescued.
Also, in the larger sense it means the harem isn't stuck as the harem forever... which certainly undermines some of the previous understood things about the current situation.
There could be a subtlety to it, though; perhaps mucking about with emotions is less fixable and more permanent than simple commands, and based off of the last few pages Jakob might have favored the latter.
