Another possibility would be their mental modifications trading places, i.e. Cherry becomes Adrian's slave and Erin becomes Jakob's.

That would actually be awesome, especially if Erin acts like she still serves Adrian, but works as a mole

That last panel makes Jakob look like a reanimated corpse. But throughout this page there's a sense that he's not quite real. I like it.

I can't help feeling that if he successfully uses the watch on Erin here, we're not going to see what happens. But I hope he does use it and I hope I'm wrong.

I kind of hope that Erin winds up with a 'voice of Jakob' in her head that she has to obey, like an invisible puppet-master always following her around.  Bonus points if it can see what she sees and makes snarky mental comments to her.  A bit of ongoing mind control subversion would be a nice change of pace for the comic -- as long as the bad guys don't win in the end, of course.
