Not the plot thread i was expecting to pick up, but I'll take it.  (I was expecting something about Julian wondering why it was taking Adrian so fucking long in the theater.)

Personally, I don't give a F...er, rip about Julian and his quest to help Cherry.  For me, the only POTENTIAL positive of Cherry not already being dead or disintegrated is the possibility of her becoming the harem's reprogrammed maid or less.  That is it.

Given her history, safe to say that Pearl/Miriam wouldn't be messing around playfully with the idea of hypnosis, sexual or otherwise, without a push... safe to assume that Adrian gave Reka and Pearl some... urges in that direction when he used the crystal on them.

So the strategy for Hitomi's visit starts to make some kind of sense: I visit your master, you visit (mistress) mine. I just have to hope that Caitlyn isn't looking doubtfully pensive in the last panel and instead is full of wonder at the sight of innocent and entirely trustworthy Hitomi's arse.

That doesn't seem like the look of awed lust (that I would think appropriate for Hitomi's derriere).  However, it also doesn't look like an *ALARM BELL* concern either.  I'm having a hard time classifying it as it's too startled for unmixed confusion but not focused enough for fight or flight.

Poor Adrian.  He's barely got one situation under control and something else is happening.  And is this the fourth or fifth time Cait's gotten herself into a scrape?

1. Night of the Watch (Derek's trigger with a Zenon assist)
2. The Pink Clouds episode (Sawyer's subliminal background + Q...sorta.
3. The airport.  Playing possum for Derek and then flattening him Buffy Summers-style and now
4. Just walking right into another problem with Coates and the already conditioned cheerleaders.  Is this the Taverner Couple's fun or do I have that wrong?

And of these scrapes she's only gotten herself out of one.  She's had outside help otherwise.

It's at least the fifth -- you missed the time Katie tries to nail her with Pink Clouds at the grocery store.  Danielle to the rescue, as I recall, although to be fair Caitlyn also rescued Danielle before all was said and done.

Most training in unarmed combat, but somehow also the most vulnerable.  But Cait crashing into whatever game the dancer and archaeologist are playing could be a lot of fun.
