Marli knowing provisional settings from Rain is an interesting idea.  Frankly, I like this entry because it's our first chance in awhile to get a really good look at Marliese.

Perhaps Marliese's real superpower is a photographic memory. Perhaps Rain sent her in with the specific objective of memorizing the settings.
