Way back in SJI 123, PK had a post where he put down Daphne's thoughts on Adrian as expressed by a youtube video of The Mighty Bosstones, and his own, via youtube video of John Wayne.

Took a look at PK's post.  Okay, PK definitely has more of a definitive heroic take--but I get the sense that Adrian is at Daphne's description right now and he's about to face his first real test.

I could be impertinent and say the entire music video could be a reference to "Clueless" because the the Mighty Mighty Bostones (perform) that song at the club where Cher, Christian and the gang go.  Paul Rudd's opportunity to "goofy dance" to cheer up Brittany Murphy's character.  ANYWAY--yeah, he seems to be positively viewed by both of them.  So far, even with the questions, he's the most sympathetic leading man in any of the strips (though the jury's still out on Enchanted Summer).
