Looks like people are indeed waking up

(Edit- posting this before the comic itself is up- just basing this off the preview picture)

Also gatDAMN love the size of those boobs. Miriam’s look fucking incredible. Am selfishly hoping that the pink stuff used when they were inside Miriam’s mind did actually have real world effects.

Now I'm a bit confused.

It seems that people who are "out" are supposed to be people who have escaped thus far. That would theoretically be Dani, Erin, and Jacqui, who went through the portal in 1508. Obviously, Adrian would still be staying in to keep pulling people out, and Reka and Aiken would still be trapped and needing recovery.

What's confusing is that, Adrian, Ama, and Miriam all go through the portal in 1509... and only Miriam "wakes up." I honestly expected her to be one of the last to wake given the souls are meant to be inside her in some way. Again, it makes sense why Adrian hasn't left yet, still having business to deal with, but why is Ama not yet awake? To my knowledge, there was no other iteration of her trapped elsewhere inside of Miriam. That seems to be why Erin, despite having jumped through the portal in 1508, is still getting mindlessly fucked by Aiken this issue: because an iteration of her is now stuck in his fantasy.

But if that's the case, why did Miriam even wake up? Isn't an iteration of her supposedly trapped in the Stepford fantasy with an iteration of Adrian? We last saw that Miriam being put in her place in 1468.

Why have the people who have woken up, woken up? And why are the people who haven't still trapped? What are the rules for why a person "wakes up" or not?

Also, did Raven, Mallory, and Elegua move to a different room? Last we saw, they were fucking in this bedroom, but none of the ladies seem to give them attention as they wake, nor vice versa. Obviously could just be the restrictions of the page size, but curious nonetheless.

I was trying to figure it out too- I know Erin was in multiple areas of Miriam’s mind, but she did escape and make it to where they last were so idk about her. I have so many theories but I keep shooting it down when I think about something that contradicts it.

Stream of consciousness here-

Miriam didn’t go into Reka or Aiken’s “area” by my memory. She went and experienced Erin’s and Jacqui’s and the bestiary thing- so maybe that’s why they’re still out because she didn’t go in there. But they did “get” Amaltheia out in the previous comic- or so it looked. Erin it’s unknown if she’s back because she’s facing away from the reader. The coloration on Erin and Aiken though is better than Reka and Amaltheia’s colorations.

Idk. There’s a lot that will be answered in the next few comics hopefully.
