MCT Backstage - Found Footage: Eleanor Markham

I really enjoyed this one! Thanks very much for digging it out of the archive.

Eleanor Markham is, of course, a member of the MCT hall of fame. I missed hearing her voice, as it is one of her sexiest features, but she's always great. This might be one of my favourite hairstyles of hers too. Very cool to see her facial expressions change as she's visualize the scenarios Henri provided, and then pop back to neutral.

I thought the added commentary with Henri was also excellent.  I think I've mentioned elsewhere, but sometimes when Henri is acting in an MCT production (and this is something that I've noticed more in some of the audio stories) his delivery can sometimes be a bit too fast or clipped to my ear, but when he's voicing an induction scene, he always seems very much in his element, and it's no surprise to me that he has an excellent voice for this kind of conversational narration and commentary as well. I think it could be easy for commentary to take away from the mood of the footage, but at least for me, Henri's voice-over really added to it.

I also thought it was a good way to fit confirmation that there was consent from Eleanor, since there was actual hypnosis here, instead of just a fictional narrative. Also a good way, as Henri mentions, to keep certain things about the session private, based on Eleanor's and his own preferences. I always love how respectful the MCT folks are of their performers. 

I've definitely been enjoying the behind the scenes features like the interviews from the Backstage membership, and I can safely add this style of found footage with commentary to that category. I'd happily enjoy any more of these that you decide to put together. 

I think it would be interesting to hear similar discussion about some of the movies that were Daphne, Henri et all's favourites. Daphne did something similar, if I'm remembering correctly, on the MCT twitter a few years ago, posting some thoughts on every production up to that point.  I assume a full commentary track for an old production wouldn't be possible, unless it was audio-only, as you'd otherwise be giving away the footage that might not be part of someone' previous purchases, but even just a shorter audio discussion with maybe a few clips or stills would be really cool.

A big thumbs up to respecting Ms Markham's consent and privacy.

As a long time subscriber at Kink one of their mainstays is they do cast interviews before and after all(?) of their videos. It establishes that they do consent and limits with their performers but it also humanizes the performers which I think is something porn badly needs. I'd love to see Backstage do that for MCT.

Hi, it's Henri… I hadn't quite realized it's been a decade since I posted here. How times flies.

Thank you! I'm really glad you liked the movie. It was a bit of an experiment, and we're really glad it seems to have panned out (the ratings have been great so far).

Since it is MCT Backstage, I thought I'd give a little bit of history here…

In 2020, D and I decided to get organized with all of our media. At that point, we'd been shooting for over 15 years, and we had a lot of stuff, built up in videotapes and media files that were  not a masterpiece of library science. We got a fancy new NAS fileserver (which right now has about 90TB of data on it, that's how much mind control porn we've made), and started importing all of the old tapes and uploading all of the old files from different editing machines. We found a tremendous amount of stuff, and got to thinking what we could do with it… And, thus MCT Backstage got going.

D teased me that I was going to do a whole movie about how I hadn't had sex with Eleanor. This is an in-joke based on one particular customer (if you are reading this, hi!) who wrote in a few years ago asking when "Henri and Eleanor were going to do a hardcore scene again." In a particular version of the Mandela Effect, he was certain that she and I had performed on camera in the past. I assure you, if we had, I'd remember it. :-)

We definitely plan to do more interviews with talent, as well as "retrospective" interviews with performers who had been in a lot of our movies. We have one planned with Lily, in addition to the scene with her that is scheduled for the June MCT Backstage release. Alison Rey and Christie Stevens are also on the list. (Christie has worked with so often lately that the crew asks me when we arrive on-set for the first day, "Where's Christie?" I will freely admit to having a huge porn crush on her.)

Sintra (aka Ande) is also going to be in more stuff soon.

We're also going to do more RL hypnosis scenes. I was a bit concerned about them, because I wanted them to be completely ethical and above-board, while still being appealing to the audience. The positive feedback there has definitely been encouraging in that regard!

Thanks for the great history lesson, and peak at the what's upcoming for backstage, Henri. Appreciate you breaking your long forum silence, and it looks like we have a lot to look forward to
