Nice to see this one back.
Much like the scenario playing out in "By the Book 2", it doesn't look like there's any defense against the crystals, so the Master (directly or through his recruiter) who strikes first and most aggressively seems likely to win. Brandon's main advantages are probably access to two crystals (for now), and that his original pink crystal seems to be the fastest acting of the three we've seen in this story arc, with no programming required for near-instant enslavement. So, even though he's in the dark, he could probably turn it around if he reacts quickly enough once he knows his ladies are being snatched.
