He is the first real rogue in our rogues' gallery (at least, we think so).  I'm just hoping we get to enjoy the effects of the Watch and possibly the Perfume for awhile before anything nefarious happens.

You saw the wink, right?  I'm all about (over)analyzing and speculating and asking questions about details and characters--and in a few weeks, I'll be waiting (possibly with bated breath) for whatever marvelous thing Daphne has planned and you and Octavia cook up--but it's a little soon for me.  Gaps of 10 entries are pretty significant story-wise. For instance, 60 to 70 takes us from the first half of Forget Something all the way to Big Damn Hero; 80 took us from Big Damn Hero all the way to the beginning of the new arc (the elimination of Derek as an adversary, the rescue of his thralls, the programming of Jacqui, Mallory supervising the new programming, thru Denoument); and, in the last 10 entries, we've gone from Dani's home improvement and dancing lessons thru the introduction of Laura's Lab partner and the mysterious perfume, the introduction of Pearl/Miri, and the introduction two Old Town Kearsage establishments (The Diner and the Pool Hall) with an assortment of other new characters and mentions of actual dorms.  Even trying to speculate on what a landmark issue might bring seems irresponsible since so much could change between now and then (not that it isn't fun to try)Wink.

Sorry to be a spelling/grammar nazi, but I believe that should be "bated" not "baited".  (Unless you eat a lot of worms.  Cheesy)

Ugh, silly errors.  The bane of my existence.  So, THIS is a Wednesday without an update or an ongoing controversy.

Things are pretty quiet around here lately, huh?  I wonder if it has something to do with finishing up that new Brothel 2 movie over at MCT?

It could be, but I was under the impression that a lot of the bottleneck was getting material back from the letterist and colorist after the story had been roughed out.*shrugs*

It will.  I'm a little concerned we don't have a title yet, but I figure it's still early Thursday.*shrugs*

SJI 91 is definitely written, drawn, colored, and lettered and will be in its usual place on Friday (Barring apocalyptic scenarios, personal tragedies, solar flares, et cetera)!

See you there!

Is this Erin's only "miss the table" scratch in eight racks, or is she making a habit of it? (I can't believe I missed that chalkboard until now Roll Eyes). Might be interesting to know what order the first seven games were played in.  Did she win the first with a nine-ball break or a table run and then start losing on purpose?  Or has she been trying to win the whole time and Adrian is hustling her.  Given that they seem to be playing for "in kind" bets, I'd normally think that Erin would have extra incentive to be competitive.  Plus, she seems naturally competitive anyway.
