Right, but all of the appearances from 1128 through 1143 aren't actually him, but Kanti's pink-clouds-induced dream, right? Really, I wonder if 995 is technically a direct appearance by Q since it also seems to be framed as Kanti's memory of the night before with him (with him speaking from off-page).

Sadly, not qualified to answer the dream sequence question... I stopped understanding everything that was going on years ago.
