Okay!  Benefit Plan, by title seems to be the sequel to Performance Review.  While that leaves us with a pheremone cliffhanger unexplored (for now), Jacqui's return to the record store promises to be vivd and entertaining.

A daughter!  To put it in the words of George Jetson's dog, Astro: "Roh roh!"

Okay-yikes!  Yum, but yikes!  Also, according to her Bonus bio, Jacqui (Ravella?) is 39 as of the Night of the Watch.  How old is the Daughter of Shadows?  Even if Jacqui were the Rocker Lorelai Gilmore, her daughter would be maybe 23 (about Erin's age).  I'd skew slightly younger than that--so Dom (until we get a name, I'm just going to call her Dom) Ravella is somewhere between 20 and 22.  From the shadow, the hair, and the profile, I'm going to assume she got her looks from her mother--which under other circumstances might have been fun, but if the track record holds up, it might be mid 2013 before we actually see her revealed.  I am going to assume that she's going to play a serious part in this story, so we'll see her again fairly soon (no doubt objecting to or severely questioning the situation with Adrian).

I have to say, in spite of the shadow tell, I was kinda hoping before the last panel that this was gonna turn out to be Sawyer.  Ah well, can't win them all.

Also, Dom's too young (I would hope) to have been jaded by the treatment of jerks, so that scary shell of Jacqui's that distracts from her hotness must be at least partially genetic instead of learned.  Dom inherited it.

ETA--FOUL!  This is another obstacle that's going to delay Jacqui and Adrian (presumably significantly).*grumbles under breath*

Yes, their music is available on iTunes as well.  I don't think I would buy one of their albums, but some of their songs are pretty good.  I think they are a northern California band and with MCC being based in SF, I can understand the connection.

It might, but it looks like she'd be more of an obstacle or an adversary in the short run (I can't imagine she'd be pleased with her mother's current arrangement, and she strikes me as quite sharp; I'm sure she knew Erin was under the counter even before the redhead was startled into revealing herself)--or possibly a victim of the pheremone perfume and Adrian would have to rescue her.  Perhaps such an adventure would change or improve her opinion of Adrian.

That shadow seems to be an aura of intimidating jadedness and severity that makes Jacqui and her daughter  (Dom or Jane Roe) scarily intimidating in spite of their looks.
