I think that was just Cherry helping Adrian make the plunge he's been fighting against all this time for legitimately good reasons. I really like how this arc is pushing a lot of things forward.

I’d also like to mention how striking the layout work is here. Not every page needs to or should be super intricate or experimental, but enough are with some regularity that it’s one of this comic’s big selling points.

I will give you that, the layouts are awesome. But let's be honest, if Aaron goes back with Adrian and then they escape the cloud, then what has this all been for? I mean we already had one fake out in the cloud when Erin supposedly had a love spell cast on her and then after several pages of that she just turned around went "hehe I'm faking". I honestly don't think I'd even have a problem with this bit right now if it wasn't for the "hehe I'm faking" earlier.
