I imagine the only reason he’s not literally laughing in the actual face of death while metaphorically doing so is the knowledge of how much more pain doubtless awaits him were he to follow through. Impressive chutzpah though, all things considered.

I always look forward to seeing these gray-zone characters like Julian. They're usually doing something and that makes them interesting. I'm very glad he didn't get shredded to death.

Okay, I can’t be the only person who notices that SJI has completely disappeared from the site.  Right?  I search for it, nothing.  It be gone.

Was I bad?  Am I being punished??
