Okay, after searching the whole internet I discovered what should have been obvious from the first page of chapter 9.

The font for the 'magic words' Daffyd uses are based on the untranslatable text of the Voynich Manuscript.

It looks to me that what Daffyd is saying are actually words though. He repeats the same phrases a fair amount.

I did find a font on the internet that is based on the script from the Voynich Manuscript but either you are using a different version or I'm just too dumb and I can't work out a transliteration of what he is saying.

I would very much like to know what Daffyd is actually saying in those black bubbles! What version of the font are you using or is there another layer and those words aren't in English? After all this work I hope he isn't just spouting random nonsense lifted from the Manuscript...

If you would provide some insight or direction in my quest to discover the secret of Daffyd's power I would be very grateful.

Just a suggestion - if you changed things back to the original cipher, it's true that some of us might know the words, but it'd be a bit more fun/easy to follow. As of your last one you're running into "XX" for some letters that I think you don't have symbols for.
