Isn't Rain part of Polly's line?  There was some scattered thought that Rain might BE Polly.  I never got the sense she was a Kuppler heir.  Who's Angela again?

I was actually excited to see to see one of the Long Shadows hanging over this series to be revealed as we near a landmark issue.  A Greek or Roman acquaintance or rival for Sam??

Okay, if he's speaking to Angela that whole time, then yeah...it's quite possible Angela is Rain's mother.  However, I seriously doubt that any of the Kuppler line is a part of Polly's line.  Eesh.  So, maybe Rain's dad IS another long shadow.  Hmm.
