Nice sequence, but I still don't know who these people are, except that they now get along swimmingly, and he doesn't appear to be a shark (yet). Plus, I have zero idea how their experience ties into any of what's happening now, though I notice that Wilmont looks much more spacious and rural in '83 than it does at this moment. Kearsage hadn't "expanded" before Wilmont went co-ed?
What are they talking about here before things get physical.
small scene? Is he talking about a scene for a particular rock subgenre here (and not a person named Athens). City of Athens--does he mean the Greek capital, or one of the towns in the U.S. named after it...the one that immediately pops into my head is Athens, GA.
I don't recognize that song she's singing, but I assume Michael is the lead singer of the band. Assistance would be greatly appreicated.

I've heard of both the lead singer and the band, but I'm not familiar enough with their musical library to recognize that song. What "scene" in Athens is he referring to? Where would REM have been labeled in '83. I honestly don't think that's George Michael, because that would have been back in the last days of WHAM! (I think).

We've seen part of that quad, but mostly in winter (so looks can be decieving). Our experience of Kearsage proper (aside from the main drag) is mostly run-down looking alleys and brick buildings. Not a lot of natural beauty present.
