That sure was a fun pastiche! The irony of man's best friend being A: actually a man, and B: now woman's best friend is delicious. Beyond that the setting, story, and art all worked well, adding up to some very *ahem* solid and lengthy content. Thank you for this!
Minor Criticism: Seeing the fun she had with Carmelita is nice and I understand the logic of inserting
that page where it is, but without any sort of transition or overlap between it and the surrounding pages it took me a while to figure out I wasn't looking at an error. Also a few expressions seem off here and there, but barring those issues I quite like the art. It has a lot of character and hits far more often than it misses.
