I hadn't considered what seems to be Adrian's working theory, that Miriam's aggressive enslavement behavior is her enacting something programmed into her by Jakob, but I suppose it makes sense. I'd assumed the similar D/s overtones with Caitlyn/Hitomi and Laura et al indicated it was related to the apparent drugging, but maybe not!  It's certainly true that Miriam was actively taking over Heidi well before this, as was pointed out.

I do wonder whether that will also strip away Adrian’s master programming from way back in the beginning during the night of the watch, or if he is merely going to focus on Jakob’s programming. I suppose it’s possible according to “zenon” in the 900s; the effect of the watch is permanent, but if you know the patterns, you can change things
