When Danielle rebuilt the Watch she got the switch settings from Marliese by way of photographic memory.  Presumably those settings are the ones used on the Night of the Watch, meaning they were right for inducting new harem members.  Adrian now thinks they need something different for what they want to do with Cherry.

I wonder what his idea is?  My guess is that he'll get Danielle pulled into the dreamscape in the hope that her memory of Jakob configuring the Watch will let him access that knowledge via the mind link.

It also occurs to me that if Danielle had the Watch with her when she entered the Infirmary that implies she had it with her when she was at Amy and Hayley's place, yet she chose to use the crystal to induct Hayley into the harem and not the Watch.  Thoughts as to why?  The Night of the Watch indicates that she's perfectly capable of using the Watch for harem induction.
