Having serious trouble loading any page on the site, speeds remind me of old dial-up days.  Anyone else having this problem?

Our monitoring service is showing a 4 second load time for the main page (which is the heaviest page on the site by far).

Ok, went in using a proxy and didn't have any problems at all.  Very strange.  Could the throttling be flagging my IP address for some reason?  I haven't downloaded anything in at least a month, but can't think of any other reason for the site to be so slow for only me.

I'm getting the slowdown too. On pictures loading in SJI, for example. The main page loads fine.

I'm also having unusual speed issues. Things load, just very slowly. Even the site's front page (not /home, the front page) loads slowly.

The throttling only effects downloads, not the main site, so that's almost certainly not it. It's possible that there is something weird going on at our ISP, but that would hit our monitoring, too.

I know the throttle is only supposed to effect downloads, main just looking for anything that could be slowing the site down for only some people.

Try tracert mindcontrolcomics.com in a command prompt to see if you can pinpoint the slowdown. adjust command accordingly to suit your operating system.
