I'm trying to remember if we've ever seen a penis in Expanded Universe. The title has more of a late-night Cinemax tone of being very sexual, but technically softcore.

Pretty sure you're right.  For example, all of Charlotte's whinnies with Gordon have had his butt to the camera.

It's a credit to the writing and art that I find this comic so entertaining without the hardcore element.

Yeah, I think things like the gag about Gordon's amazing unit are only really possible because it is never seen. No image can live up to what is in our imagination based on everyone's reaction to it.
