A very fun 'What-If'! Always nice to see some of HMB's work, and Caitlyn and Erin look great Ruby-ized.

As I recall, SJI does take place in the same universe as Beyond Rubies, and the Hidden Knowledge, so there's that extra spice that this could potentially happen. Cheesy

It's canon that Saint James Infirmary, Beyond Rubies, and Hidden Knowledge are in the same universe (there have been some subtle hints at it, like signs in the background, but might as well make it official).

Interesting!  Fictional/alternate country in South America had been on the list of guesses I'd made in the past I believe, so nice to know I wasn't barking up completely the wrong tree. Smiley
