This looks like the discussion at just that point. If it's a really slow burn, there will be no move. Otherwise, I'd have to think there'd be some kind of offer (maybe as part of a "thank you" for that healing ceremony).

I love the contrast in the last panel.
On her side it looks like one of those 1940s classic big screen kisses, and his look says "What the HELL just happened?!"
Nice step. A preliminary hint, but a gorgeous and deliciously obvious one.

Well obviously Dani wasn't going with the usual programming (though we don't even know how possible that is with the crystal vs. the watch), but rather something more subtle. Maybe a slow falling for Adrian on Miriam's part?

It looked like it would go that route, but that last panel seemed like an accelerant (or evidence that something is happening rapidly to Pearl or inside her mind). I'm almost hoping for a quick turnaround "splash page" for a complete reaction to what just happened.

Maybe it's not such a leap at the end: the whole page is a come-on from Miriam. It's just that she has confused playing hard to get with being hard to keep up with.
Mind you Adrian finds everyone hard to keep up with.
