Well I'm nearly 45 and that's a fair description of what I see when I look in the mirror...
Well maybe not. But plenty of people my age spend too much time in the gym and retain their original hair colour. Equally, many people my age have beards and at least some grey.
Johannes certainly didn't look 35 to me in his first guest page appearance, and subsequent appearances haven't left me thinking he must be.

Also bear in mind this is an adult comic. We should expect the characters to be physically attractive because, well, that's what we like to see. Who wants to watch a balding overweight guy in the sack? For that reason alone I'd expect characters in SJI to age extremely well.

Yes, but clearly not all of them in all situations.
Jacqui Ravella seems to be the outlier among all normal mortals so far in this comic. If the younger Kupler brother is really 45+ or even 50 right now, he's a svelter version of the guy who advertised Bowflex in the late '90s/ early '00s. I hope a triumphant Adrian ages that well. But, seeing Jo relax with his shirt off before he and Her Unpronounceableness got to friskiness "last year" in the guest pages, led me to estimate him as below 40. We don't have an actual baseline for Jakob yet, but the early impressions of gray hair and trimmed beard and moustache from Dani's garbled "memory" are tough to shake.

She hasn't aged a day for the last 5 centuries (that we can positively confirm). So, unless this bridges into the Highlander Universe somewhere and Adrian's going to trip over Amanda (who I'd love to see PK and Octavia draw and illustrate, by the way), this seems to lean toward the "not human" conclusion.

Almost anything may be possible with magic. The implication so far is that it's Rain's promise to John. There's no mention of "It's almost time. The day you dreamed of is almost here Mom/Grandma/Sainted Family Matriarch" in complete privacy. And if there was a link like that, I'd expect Rain to have reflected upon it in one of the private moments we've seen. Seems like it's her promise to John and if Rain and Polly are just names of convenience for an apparent immortal with Greek heritage and a knack and soft spot for music and musicians...well.  |

It's a theory I've outlined before. But it's only a theory. And off the top of my head I don't think anyone in the story has referred to Rain's promise. I think the only present-day reference we've had to The Promise came from Cherry (whom you usually dismiss as a total liar anyway) - and she called it a 330 year old promise, not Rain's promise.
I'm certainly not saying she isn't a Greek goddess; I'm just saying we don't know that she is.
