OK, this one is a tough one, so the prize is huge: AN ENTIRE YEAR membership to MCC!

And the question is:

The Book in The Hidden Knowledge is written in a mystic font... what real-world book does that font come from?

It's a real-life font, from a real-life book. Name that book, and get a free year here!

Now, the rules are:

  • First guess wins, by the timestamp of the posting.
  • We'll check in once a day (when there are new guesses) to say whether or not there has been a winner.
  • Each Forum participant gets a total of three guesses.
  • Our decision is final, as always!
  • Creators (artists and writers) aren't eligible.

Go for it!

It's the same style of text as the Voynich Manuscript, at 15th century book written in an unknown language.

I first learned about it here.

I was intrigued, so I did a little more reading.  When the comic came out, I didn't make the connection at first.  It wasn't until I read this contest that I thought of it again.

From the facsimile edition sitting on my shelf. Yes, I am a big old geek, why do you ask? Smiley
