The title sounds like a splash page or celebration page.  We're not quite at a celebrating point, are we?  Cherry has the crystal and she's headed back to His Nefariousness (wherever that exit leads).  Plus, Vik has completely lost his mind.  Still a good splash page is always entertaining.  I just figured that the landmark would be at #300.

I don't think we've ever heard the shell referred to as the crystal by anyone *except* Cherry, is where I'm going with this.  And wasn't Dani told to put it away by Erin?  Arrrrgh. 

I guess we won't know for a bit.  Here's hoping Dani gets the watch working again soon, if they still have the shell.  Failing that, go use PC on Cherry to get it back.

I have been wondering for a while whether 'the crystal' might be Zenon's.  We've been assuming that Marliese is the one who broke into the Doctor's office because she had his "private stash", but it's possible that it was Julian/Cherry.  If so, they could have taken the crystal he was using to hypnotize the students.  Maybe it has some hereto unsuspected special abilities.  (Certainly he was able to hypnotize people to do things they ordinarily would not.  It's hard to tell whether that implies special power or if it's just the nature of the SJI-verse as a haven for pornographic mind control.)

Yeah I wonder about that.  But if that's the case, he was working for Claudia, no?  Why did she need to find the watch so badly if one of her goons had a shell already?

Not a shell, a crystal.

My assumption is that Claudia specifically wants the Watch (or the shell that powers it) because that was what was used to induct her into the harem.  If the crystal's powers are different it might not serve whatever purpose Claudia has for the Watch, any more than Pink Clouds would.  It's also possible that Claudia was not willing to place herself under Zenon's control.  I think she was trying to free herself (or take over the NY harem), not put herself under the thumb of a different controller.

Yeah, I think that's pretty clear.  It's looking pretty bad for Claudia, Dani, and the rest of the girls from the HY harem if the old boss is still kicking.  I think I've mentioned before that programming might explain why we always see Claudia wearing some leather jumpsuit or other - she probably is forbidden from wearing normal clothes.

What's that that Dani's got there? A ring?

EDIT: Ah, okay, nvm, it's the one she got from Amy.  

Again, the faces just keep getting better.  In particular, Dani's on panel 3 looks absolutely wonderfully expressive.

Dani got a ring from Amy?  Huh?    When?  Why?  Any significance to it?

Let's try a more direct approach.  Are these "shells" we keep seeing pop up actually crystals (or representations of crystals as on the Wilmot coat of arms)?

Also, I've very rarely been to the East Coast to the Northeast.  What exit did Cherry and her gun-toting partner take?  Is it off to New York (and presumably Claudia) or somewhere else and Mr. Previously-Presumed-Dead?
