So, I was guesstimating, looking for Pearl in front of the mirror when the Horniness Broadcast hits her full blast, trying to see if we have shots of her without her headgear (not that that wrap isn't gorgeous, but out of curiosity). I apparently went back too far, but I tripped over something. The shot of Mallory in this issue is intriguing. What are those items she's sorting on her bed? One looks like a picture of her deceased...friend? As to the rest of it--mementos, foci, objects of power? I don't remember this being discussed at the time. Laguna astutely mentioned it, and it could be part of a forecasting ritual.
Of course, there are a lot of other interesting things going on. Erin rocking Raven's world, Dani reclining, Julian and Cherry driving ominously toward the house presenting a direct (and still present) threat.
So, is this about the future?
Could any of these be items she'd need to have a "talk" with Sam about who is and who isn't dead? Does her friend's death have direct ties to the current struggle? More things to think about and speculate around.
