As politely as I can phrase it, what IS the problem causing the slowdown?

Let me explain that I appreciate having this place and this space, and that while I don't enjoy every comic I've been a fairly consistent supporter for quite some time. I also know that I don't know what difficulties exist within the process of creating comic books and wrangling the artists and teams behind them. I appreciate the occasional efforts that have been made to mollify or recompense the customers for the slowdown of production.
AND
At the same time, boy howdy is it frustrating that in 2025 the overall goal of 52 weekly issue publications fell 16 short and the promised price reduction lasted only two months, absolutely not reaching the desired catch-up point before the discount was discontinued without any notification to customers other than their bills. It is, I imagine especially for Daphne, frustrating that in the 44 (at time of writing) calendar weeks of 2026 only a total of 16 issues have been produced.
SO
Knowing that the team has been willing to change artists on a title or simply discontinue titles in the past, I don't understand what has caused the current slowdown. I would love to know. I would love to understand the problem, or that the problem has been identified so that I can feel confident that a solution is possible. Daphne has stated in other threads that she didn't know what more she could say or update about beyond what has been provided, so this is my effort to help. Can you tell us generally what is the cause of the slowdown or the cessation of production? Is it an internal issue at MCC, perhaps a change of financial institutions causing disruption in moneyflow, a changing of the guard at leadership causing confusion and disruption in communications; could it be simply that the longstanding artists are no longer providing timely work or work at all and/or that issues with artists have arrested any development of certain titles; has the subscriber population dwindled to the extent that MCC and MCT are no longer fiscally viable? We don't necessarily need to know the specifics, and in a lot of cases it wouldn't be legal for the team to tell the customers what those specifics are, I am not asking for the details. It would assuage my concerns to know what kind of solutions are possible.

To clarify, this isn't some ultimatum or extortion threat 'give me answers or I take my money elsewhere!' kind of post, I like MCC, I have always liked these comics and the explorations of eroticism possible with these stories. I'll continue to like them for a long time. I'd like to continue liking them forever! I just want to know that a solution is possible, but that only comes when a problem is identified. I think that clarity about these issues engenders much goodwill, and hope that a reply can help put my fears and the unspoken fears of, I am sure, many to bed. I apologize if my tone has been confrontational, but I have endeavored to frame it as politely as I can while still raising the questions I feel need to be asked.

This is very well-phrased. At this point the silence is becoming unnerving. Even if there were a personal tragedy making it impossible for any single person in Daphne’s Fantasies to address the subscribers, it seems unprofessional that, after so much time, there is no one who can come forward to provide some kind of response.

The only answer I can imagine that makes sense is personal catastrophe, and the most likely personal catastrophe is something health-related. At this point I expect to check the site one day and discover it gone, with the domain for sale by a squatter. All things pass, and there isn't another competing site I can take my business to, so, here we are. More in sorrow than in anger, nothing but appreciation for years of product, etc, etc.
