seems to me like a "fantasy running away with itself" similar to an implanted idea or a memetic virus. its a more natural, phenomenological type of mental influence, but its definitely on the MC spectrum. not everything is as bombastic as a prop watch or fantastical as a magic stone. we mustn't forget the every day forms of mind control!

Ok, but when I'm taking in mind control content in a visual medium I want to be able to actually see the mind control; speculation that subtle unseen methods of mind control might exist now and hopefully will in the future isn't getting the job done lol
