But I don't think the audience (that is, the people reading this) are quite ready to accept fully AI-generated comics yet. At least, that's my current impression.
I would rather get one comic a year made by an actual human than 1000 comics a day made by AI. There are some legitimate uses for AI technology. Art is not one of them. |

People’s opinions about AI make me very curious about the future of Lessirova. The poster teaser (which has since disappeared) seemed to suggest its images would be AI-generated. I wonder whether that approach will change because of people’s distaste for AI.

It is extremely disappointing, I re-subbed 3 months in June cause it sounded like there were a ton of comics in the works and everything was on the edge of being back on track. There have been a lot of promises about releasing the full 48 issues in the 12 month time span, but we are actually starting to approach 12 months from when this whole thing started.

I resigned when SJI resumed, in the hope that it might be the first steps back to normal with its weekly schedule resuming. The week isn’t over yet, but Tuesday has come and gone and Wednesday is near over as well…

It's possible that both things are true: Daphne (et al) are doing their level best and in good faith to resume the previous update schedule, and also the current economy and environment makes that difficult or impossible. Something has clearly impeded things.
I'd really love it if we saw the unreleased Starter Marriage material, at the very least.

Very welcome (and generous) news on the compensation but i have noted that the comics that were listed in the forthcoming issues thread have disappeared.
Can i take that as good news they are imminent or bad news they are still a long ways off?
