We are doing a survey about AI. We'd love to get your opinion!

So, I answered the survey, but I'll post this here as well

1.  I have very grave concerns about generative AI on a number of fronts.

In a professional context, I think that they rot people's brains and prevent them from actually learning.  They also allow the most stupid members of my company's workforce to create crap @scale and it falls to the most senior staff to clean up after them.  (By which I mean fix their mistakes and then try to have them fired for incompetence)

More generally, I think that generative AI is abusive with respect to intellectual property rights.  It steals IP from creators and is going to destroy a bunch of creative ecosystems.  I personally would be willing to pay more for bespoke hand crafted content.

If we narrow the focus to pornography and they like, it pretty obvious when some Only Fans creators go an hand off their accounts to third parties.  Even more so when they are using AI's to generate voice content.  This almost immediately leads me to cancel subscriptions not least because of the dishonesty.

2.  I'm not saying that I would 100% cancel my subscription if you went down this path.  Indeed, the quality of the video clip was decent.   For me, at least, I think that one major consideration would be if you were creating brand new content rather than ripping off the style of an existing artist that you currently work with.

Overall, this is a complicated topic...

Also posting here as well in the survey:

Speaking as one in the software industry, Generative AI is a process that at best, could only produce mediocre content, since it is necessarily a melding of all the items it was trained on.
Ethically, it plagiarizes the work of whomever it was given as training unless it was trained to reproduce the work of a single creator who then later used it.
It can be a tool for creating a outline or skeleton, but more often it is a crutch that prevents the users from truly learning and developing skills.
