This is
barely an inconsistency, but...
It's possible to never tell Allison about Annie's follow-up texts and requests, if you decide against going.
"Hello," she says, her voice sultry and full of promise.
You consider for a moment, but you decide not to tell her about Annie and her request right now. You're not going, so there's really no need to bring it up.
You two chat about your respective work for a few minutes.
Then if you visit the restroom before the kitchen, Renée will ask about Annie, claiming that Allison mentioned a possible trip while you were in the restroom.
"So," she says. "I understand Annie got back in touch with you."
"How did you know about that?"
"Allison mentioned it while you were in the bathroom," she says, and takes a sip of wine. "You're smart not to go. That sounds like a crazy situation." She takes another sip, her expression saying I'm surprised you didn't, knowing how you feel about Annie.
Note the line "smart not to go, that sounds like a crazy situation," which doesn't seem like a reasonable response to simply hearing that Annie texted you late the night before (which is all Allison knows at this point). Renée making reference to the concept of you going to see Annie seems like a small plot hole. She might of course have a different information source and be lying when she says she heard about it from Allison. In this particular playthrough you didn't text or call Lorelei so the information wouldn't have come from that vector, for what it's worth.
Confirming that Allison didn't know: the next morning over breakfast if you don't fuck Allison right away you can tell her about Annie's request, which surprises her.
You change the subject.
"I don't think I mentioned. That text from Annie? My ex? She wanted me to fly out to help her out with some kind of problem."
Allison blinks. "Wow. You haven't heard from her since you split, right?"
"Nope."
She shakes her head. "Whatever's going on must be pretty serious. Did you reply?"
"I told her I can't. It's too weird, and seeing her again would be too painful."
She smiles. "Well, you have my support either way, but I'm happy to have the weekend with you."
"She made some pretty serious offers, but... no. Not going to get involved."
The conclusion I would draw from this is that Renée knows more about Annie's situation than she lets on, certainly more than she was able to learn from Allison. Maybe that's not an inconsistency! I dunno. Seemed worth pointing out.
