It seems obvious to me that her foot is gripped to the pole. You need to visit more strip clubs.  Wink  I've seen girls hang on the pole with their legs straight and locked together. Danielle has her body pressed against one side of the pole and her foot on the other side. She also looks like she could be using her left arm for additional pressure. In E80, she was doing it with both legs and her back, which is my mind is much more impressive. Shocked

Presumably gym class was similar.

I have this vision of a future comic in which Adrian opens the door saying something like "I don't think today could get any more surreal" only to be faced with Caitlyn on the stripper pole wearing nothing but the mantis head.

Oh, I forgot to ask...what state is Kearsarge in?  If it's Connecticut, the use of the European Mantis as school mascot could be partially written off as state pride.  It is, after all, the state insect.
